Emu Plains is a traditional cemetery providing monumental grave sites only. Penrith City Council maintains the cemetery in good condition and even though the grass may sometimes need cutting, the cemetery has an historic charm.

The following prices (1 July 2008) are given as a guide only and cannot be relied on. Contact the cemetery for up-to-date and comprehensive information which is available on Council's website at www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au/index.asp?id=2630. Prices are reviewed annually. All prices include GST.

In-ground burial

Monumental graves: $2,000 including GST plus a permit/registration charge of $200 and a first interment charge of $1,125. There is a $1,000 surcharge if you reside outside the Penrith local government area. Other monumentation is at your own expense and requires the payment of a $140 permit fee.
