Fawkner Memorial Park - Cemetery and Crematorium

 

 

Fawkner has extensive grounds and is beautifully maintained. The site has its own railway station and the railway line runs through the site. Lawn and monumental graves are available. There is an impressive central avenue of roses for memorials for cremated remains. Niche walls and other graden areas are also available for ash memorials. The crematorium chapel is in a bushland setting with mature Eucalyptus plantings.

Price list are available on the website.The following prices (at August 2008) are given as a guide only and cannot be relied on. Prices are generally reviewed annually and include GST.  Current prices should be obtained from the cemetery.

A. Burial

  • Lawn grave for up to 3 burials: $1,803 plus plaque and interment
  • Lawn grave for up to 3 burials with raised beam :  $1,894  plus plaque and interment
  • Headstone lawn grave for up to 3 burials: $2,027 or $7,987 plus headstone and interment
  • Monumental grave for up to 3 burials: $1,802 to $4,950 plus monument and interment
  • Adult interment weekdays: $1,037
  • Single mausoleum crypts from about $12,000. Doubles in good position about $50,00 to $70,000

B. Cremation

  • Adult weekday cremation with chapel: $722
  • Individual niche in wall with plaque: $545 25 years; $871 in perpetuity
  • Individual garden niche wih plaque: $601 25 years; $1,011 in perpetuity
  • Boulder memorial in garden, 2 postitions: $2,654 25 years; $6,963 in perpetuity
