Ferntree Gully Cemeterywas a small cemetery of 5 acres and was officially ' full in 1984. Now the Trust, managed by Knox City Council,  has purchased more land and burial has recommenced. The cemetery has a lovely aspect and gently sloping ground with an outlook across the valley. The landscape artist Sir Arthur Streeton is buried there.
