Flowers

Funeral directors can organise

Funeral firectors usually have a range of pre-organised flower options available for you, and as with any purchase of flowers, usually the more you pay the more you get. One idea is to set a budget for flowers and order to that budget.

Do-it-yourself flowers

While funeral directors make it easy by ordering flowers for the coffin or funeral service for you, flowers can be ordered from any florist, bought at markets or picked from gardens.  If the budget is tight, consider a simple home made bouquet or no flowers at all.

Flowers as an act of love

Many people want to be able to demonstarte their love for someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, by doing something tangible for them. Consider asking someone who knew the deceased person  to do the flower arrangement for the coffin or chapel etc.

Hint for finding a florist

Put the words 'funeral sheath' or 'sympathy sheath' into your search engine (eg google)
