In-ground burial

Choices

There are three main choices of style for in-ground burial:

1. Lawn burial with a simple and often standard plaque. The plaque may be flush with the ground or slightly raised at an angle.

2. Headstone lawn or monumental lawn graves have a larger, vertical headstone, often in granite. The headstones are often of a standard form but can be very elaborate.

3. Fully monumented graves usually have monumentation at the head of the grave as well as covering the grave.The monumentation may be of any material and may be quite simple or elaborate.
