What a marvellous decision it was to combine a botanic garden with a cemetery. There is excellent use of the cemetery space and a visit to the cemetery can be a fabulous experience enhanced by the sound of running water and abundant birdlife. There are 171 hectares of botanical gardens and lawns.

The Necropolis has

  • 5 main chapels
  • 2 Mausoleum

The Jewish and Asian Chinese communities of Melbourne are specifically catered for and there is the Song He Yuan area with options for cremated remains which has an authenitic feng shui design.

  • Lawn graves from about $3,500 including 1st interment to about $15,000
  • Memorial graves from about $3,500 including 1st interment, plus the memorial costs

D. Above ground crypts
